ATS Road Trip RAM & Dodge Release Date: What We Know
Short answer: there is no release date yet. As of October 29, 2026, the Road Trip: RAM & Dodge DLC for American Truck Simulator is listed on Steam as “To be announced”. SCS Software has not named a month, a season or a price. We will update this page when that changes.
The pack has been in the works for more than a year, though, and SCS has shown three of its four cars in some detail. Here is everything on record.
The four vehicles
| Vehicle | Steam listing | What the SCS blog has said |
|---|---|---|
| RAM 1500 | 2025 RAM 1500 | No dedicated post yet. Modelled by artist Renju, who also built the Ford Bronco |
| Dodge Charger | 1970 Dodge Charger | Modelled by Andi as a 1970 Charger. SCS filmed and recorded a 1969 Charger for reference |
| Dodge Viper | 2002 Dodge Viper | Artist George is building a Viper GTS. SCS scanned a 1997 Viper GTS in Texas |
| Dodge Challenger | 2023 Dodge Challenger | Shown in May 2026 as the 2023 Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, work in progress |
Model years are where the sources do not quite line up. Steam lists a 1970 Charger and a 2002 Viper, while the cars SCS filmed and scanned were a 1969 Charger and a 1997 Viper GTS. A reference car does not have to be the exact year that ends up in the game, so we would treat the Steam listing as the target until SCS says otherwise.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody
The best documented of the four. SCS recorded a real Hellcat Widebody in October 2025, with owner Marek letting the team capture everything from idle to full acceleration, and then gave it a full work-in-progress reveal in May 2026. The screenshots showed it on the Golden Gate Bridge and at scenic stops, and SCS said more refinement was planned. The scanning video.
Dodge Charger
Andi, who also modelled the Challenger, said in January that his favourite part was the interior textures and materials. In February SCS released a walk-around of a 1969 Charger at Veteráni na Truc, a Czech classic and American car specialist, where the team also recorded footage and sounds.
Dodge Viper
SCS vehicle art leader George called the Viper GTS his dream car when the team was introduced. In June the studio scanned a 1997 Viper GTS owned by Dino in Denton, Texas, and filmed an interview with him.
RAM 1500
The quiet one. Apart from the announcement art and Renju’s mention, the RAM 1500 has had no blog of its own. When SCS asked for help recording sounds in April 2025, it was looking for a 2025 Ram 1500 with the 3.0 inline-six, but that was a request, not a confirmed spec.

Along the way the name changed. It was announced as the RAM & Dodge Car Pack, and SCS now calls it Road Trip: RAM & Dodge, matching the way the Ford Car Pack became Road Trip: Ford.
When could it come out?
Nobody outside SCS knows. What we can say is how the Ford pack went. It was revealed in July 2025, got its first gameplay video in June 2026, and its release date was only announced on September 20, 2026, nine days before launch, together with a trailer.
By that measure RAM & Dodge has some way to go. There has been no gameplay video for any of its cars yet, and the RAM 1500 has not had its own reveal. Our reading is that a gameplay preview would be the first real sign that a date is close. Until then, any date you see online is a guess.
