ATS Road Trip: RAM & Dodge Car Pack Revealed

Road Trip RAM and Dodge Car Pack key art with a RAM 1500 pickup and a classic Dodge Charger

Less than a month after the Ford Car Pack, SCS Software has named a second DLC for Road Trip in American Truck Simulator. The RAM & Dodge Car Pack leans hard into American muscle.

Four vehicles

  • RAM 1500, which SCS calls a dependable workhorse
  • Dodge Charger, described as a classic
  • Dodge Viper
  • Dodge Challenger

The blog post gives no model years. For a hint, the sound recording list SCS published in April named a 1970 Charger with the 426 Hemi V8, a 1996–2002 Viper with the 8.0 V10, a 2023 Challenger with a 6.2 V8 and a 2025 RAM 1500 with a 3.0 I6. As with the Ford pack, SCS says engine configurations and trim options are still being finalised and will be confirmed later, so that list is a clue rather than a spec sheet.

The screenshots

Most of the work-in-progress images show the Charger: a blue coupe with a black vinyl roof and the full-width tail lights, photographed at dusk, outside a motel and from directly above. The last one is taken from the driver’s seat of the Viper, with its row of round gauges and a manual shifter. The RAM 1500 and the Challenger only appear in the key art so far.

Same rules as Ford

Road Trip is delivered the same way here. Owning the RAM & Dodge Car Pack, or any other Road Trip pack, unlocks the Road Trip gameplay module, so players do not need both packs to try the mode. There is still no price and no release date, but the pack is already on Steam for wishlisting. SCS thanks RAM and Dodge for their cooperation and trust.

Our take

Put the two packs side by side and SCS has eight vehicles across roughly six decades. The Dodge side adds what the Ford pack lacks: an outright supercar in the Viper and a modern muscle car in the Challenger. It also sets up an F-150 against RAM 1500 pairing that pickup owners have argued about for years, which could make for an entertaining comparison once both are drivable.
