ATS Road Trip: 1969 Dodge Charger Walk-Around at Veteráni na Truc
SCS Software did not have to cross the Atlantic for this one. The latest SCS On The Road episode was filmed last year in the studio’s home country at Veteráni na Truc, a Czech company that imports, sells and services classic and American cars. The star of the visit is a 1969 Dodge Charger.
More than a walk-around
The episode is partly about the car and partly about the business behind it. Brothers Ondřej and Jiří Truc and Jan Lancinger talk about how a family hobby turned into a well-known specialist in heritage cars, with an emphasis on preserving automotive history. For anyone who likes restoration stories, that half of the video is the better one.
The working part of the day was reference gathering: SCS says it captured video footage and authentic vehicle sounds from the company’s collection for Road Trip.
Which Charger is in the pack
A small point of detail. The car in the video is a 1969 model, but when vehicle artist Andi was introduced last month, he said he modelled the 1970 Dodge Charger for the RAM & Dodge Car Pack. We would not read the ‘69 as a change of plan: SCS describes the visit as reference gathering, not a model reveal, and it has not said the pack’s car is any different.
The Charger joins the RAM 1500, Dodge Viper and Dodge Challenger in that pack. SCS also says more SCS On The Road episodes are lined up for 2026.
