ETS 2 Coaches: Scania Touring Gameplay From Narvik to Andenes

The second gameplay video from the Euro Truck Simulator 2 Coaches DLC is out, and this time SCS Software has picked one of the best-looking routes on the map. The Scania Touring drives from Narvik to Andenes through northern Norway.

The G-force indicator

The new feature on show is a G-force indicator that turns your driving into passenger satisfaction. Sharp turns and hard braking push the G-forces up. Go past what your passengers can tolerate and you will hear about it, loudly, from the back of the coach.

Satisfaction feeds into your overall result at the end of the journey, so smooth driving pays off in a way you can measure. Passengers also talk and make noise throughout the trip, which goes a long way to making the coach feel occupied rather than empty.

Sun visors in action

The video also shows the adjustable sun visor, one of the new vehicle features SCS presented in July. On a northern route with low sun, it gets used.

Two previews in

After the MAN Lion’s Coach run from Duisburg to Rotterdam in July, this video adds sound and feedback that the first one only hinted at. The G-force readout is the clearest sign yet of how strict the passenger system will be. There is still no release date, so the Coaches DLC remains on Steam as “To be announced”.
