ETS 2 Coaches: MAN Lion's Coach Revealed in 4×2 and 6×2
After the Scania Touring, the second coach for Euro Truck Simulator 2 now has its own reveal. SCS Software has shared the first detailed look at the MAN Lion’s Coach, the model vehicle artist Vladimír has been working on since the team was introduced in July.
The real Lion’s Coach
MAN’s long-distance coach is a regular on regional routes and international services across Europe. It runs on MAN’s D26 engine, and its reputation comes from a mix of economy, practicality and comfort: big windows, a clean and roomy layout and a modern set of driver assistance systems for long motorway days.
Two lengths
SCS is building the coach in two configurations:
- 4×2, the standard length
- 6×2, the extended length with an extra axle
That gives you a choice between a more manageable coach for tight stations and a longer one with more seats.
Interior options
Customisation is more than paint here. You will be able to pick from five colour variants for the seats and curtains, and the wheel covers get a changeable colour too. Mixed together, that allows quite a few combinations for anyone planning a fleet look.
So far
That makes two confirmed coaches, the Scania Touring and the MAN Lion’s Coach, with SCS saying more are planned. The screenshots are still marked work in progress, but the cockpit shots already look close to finished.
