The changes that we are introducing with the 1.40 update for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 have been visible to the public for some time now, in the currently still ongoing Open Beta builds. By far the most visible change is the new lighting system, which has turned out to be the largest graphical rework for us in years.

We love to bring you new game updates, especially when they contain some cool features that have been requested for a long time! Today, we are happy to share with you that the 1.40 Update Open Beta for American Truck Simulator is now ready to be tested and tried-out by our community!

The California rework project for American Truck Simulator, which has been ongoing for several years, is now progressing to Phase 4. The 1.53 update will introduce California Rework Phase 4, brought to you by SCS Software.

In 2022, International 9900i truck will arrive for the American Truck Simulator. SCS Software announced it in its Christmas stream. The release date hasn't been announced yet.

SCS Software released a new game module called Driving Academy with the 1.52 update for ETS 2 and ATS.

The updated 5th generation Freightliner Cascadia truck has been released for American Truck Simulator as a free update.

SCS Software has been released open beta of 1.43 update for American Truck Simulator. Ownable dumper trailers, interior cabin sound update and new SDF fonts features come with this update.
