American Truck Simulator

Happy 5th Birthday American Truck Simulator! It's incredible how time has flown since we released this newer trucking title in February 2016. Our vehicle team has worked hard to bring you a range of long and short chassis types, allowing you to customize your truck for the job at hand. This update will feature 4x2, 8x4, and 8x6 chassis types which are used for a range of different trailers.

From towering, snow-capped mountain ranges to world-famous national parks, Wyoming is a state of rugged natural beauty. Whilst admiring the scenery on your delivery, it's important to remember the reason for your journey! Let's take a closer look at some of the key industries that will be featured in our upcoming Wyoming DLC for American Truck Simulator.

The first blog post of 2022 introduces the cities and settlements in the Texas DLC. Texas state release is expected for American Truck Simulator this year. SCS Software shares screenshots from the cities of San Angelo, Waco, Galveston and Amarillo below.

SCS Software has been released open beta of 1.43 update for American Truck Simulator. Ownable dumper trailers, interior cabin sound update and new SDF fonts features come with this update.

SCS Software is changing the physics engine with the 1.52 update. Both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have been using Bullet Physics for their physics system, powered by the Prism3D engine.

Colorado will be released on the 12th of November 2020!

The iconic and scenic water bodies meticulously redesigned by the SCS Software team for the American Truck Simulator - Missouri State map expansion were introduced in a blog post.

The next American Journey for American Truck Simulator will be Louisiana DLC. SCS Software has hinted that the state of Louisiana will be officially announced soon with both a teaser video and screenshots in the official blog post.

The updated 5th generation Freightliner Cascadia truck has been released for American Truck Simulator as a free update.
