SCS Software changes physics engine for ETS 2 & ATS
SCS Software is changing the physics engine with the 1.52 update. Both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have been using Bullet Physics for their physics system, powered by the Prism3D engine.

Under the Hood: 1.40 New Lighting System (ETS 2 & ATS)
The changes that we are introducing with the 1.40 update for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 have been visible to the public for some time now, in the currently still ongoing Open Beta builds. By far the most visible change is the new lighting system, which has turned out to be the largest graphical rework for us in years.
