3D terrain deformation has been expected for years for the Farming Simulator series. Now, a surprise video has been shared by OxygenDavid, who is famous for the maps she made for Farming Simulator 19. For example, the Chellington Valley map mod is famous. He is working on dynamic terrain integration on own map mods. OxygenDavid is currently working on Calmsden and Court farms maps. Along with the Real Mud(by ViperGTS96) mod, it has given a dynamic terrain-like feature on its own map. The video shows how muddy terrain changed on a rainy day. With the Real Mud mod, the tractor is already sinking, but a dynamic terrain-like system with tire tracks has been prepared. This is just a mod test. With Farming Simulator 22, complex features will be available for modders. Textures that look like 3D will be used with Parallax occlusion mapping. We hope the visual effects look much better in FS 22. And in this way, we can see better environments in map mods.
OxygenDavid says:
“Here is the first look at my Dynamic terrain for fs19 which is in early development….. still loads of tweaks and improvements to do but expect it to be in my new maps Calmsden and Court farms. :)”
