Farming Simulator 22 – Manual Tarpaulin & Cover for Trailers (Branda)
With this mod, the tarpaulin on the trailers in Farming Simulator 22 is opened and closed by hand. The automatic behaviour is turned off. You walk up to the trailer and open or close the cover/tarpaulin yourself.
What the mod changes
The mod is a small script, published as Manual Cover, that changes one habit of the game. Normally the cover on a grain trailer or tipper is something you deal with from the driver’s seat. With the script active, the automatic handling is off and the cover becomes a job you do on foot. The author’s description says it lets you open and close the tarpaulins and covers of trailers and devices from outside the vehicle.
It is a script, not a new trailer, so it adds nothing to the shop. “Branda” in the title is the Turkish word for a tarpaulin.

Why players use it
Mostly for the routine it adds. Pull up to the silo, climb down, open the cover, tip, close it again before the drive back. It slows the work a little and makes each load feel handled rather than automated. It fits well with other realism scripts, such as Manual Attach by Wopster, which makes you hitch tools and trailers on foot, or Manual Combine Discharge, which leaves unloading the combine to a button press.
The cost is time. With several trailers on the go, walking to every cover gets tedious.

When we checked on 29 October 2026, the download link above, on the LS Farming Mods file base, returned a “page not found” error. Copies of the mod still circulate on third-party mod sites, but they are not the author’s own upload, so check any file you find before using it. The mod was made for Farming Simulator 22 only.
