The GIANTS Software team has revealed in a new video that Farming Simulator 25 will feature NPC characters we can interact with. One of these is Grandpa Walter, who will hand over his farm to us at the beginning of the game. Along with sharing stories about the farm and his family, he will also impart some of his wisdom. After years, FS 25 is finally introducing dialogue-based NPC AI characters, which is a positive step forward but a long overdue one.
However, we should be able to interact with NPCs at static farms or shops, even if it’s just through simple conversations, and see them perform various actions with different animations.
In Farming Simulator 22, the modding community has been trying to address these kinds of shortcomings in creative ways. The introduction of NPC characters in FS 25 could open new doors for modders, allowing for more dynamic interactions and expanding the possibilities for in-game content.
