Krone‘s revolutionary trailer technology with electric axles has been released for ETS 2 in a new update. Thanks to the close collaboration between SCS Software and Krone Trailers, the eTrailer has made its way into the virtual world. Owners of the Krone Trailer Pack DLC can now use the Dynamics eTrailer with the update they received.

Introducing the KRONE eTrailer!

Thanks to the collaboration between Krone Trailers and Trailer Dynamics, this partnership has resulted in special electric trailers that reduce the diesel consumption and CO2 emissions of semitrailer trucks by 20 to 40 percent. The trailer features a powerful drivetrain that not only supports the propulsion of the truck but also recovers braking energy through regenerative technology. The eAxle continuously provides 360 kW of power, with peak output reaching up to 580 kW.

In Euro Truck Simulator 2, the Krone eTrailer feature is available in the Freight Market for jobs up to 350 km, using the eDry Liner and eCool Liner trailer models. These powerful trailers, equipped with electric axles, will help improve your truck’s fuel efficiency during hauls.
