Maastricht-Aachen is the next scenery by Turkish developer ST Simulations, recreating the Dutch airport known for the EUROCONTROL MUAC.

Developed by ST Simulations, Maastricht Aachen Airport (also known as Vliegveld Zuid-Limburg/Beek, IATA code: MST, ICAO code: EHBK) is an international commercial airport in the municipality of Beek, about 10 kilometers northeast of Maastricht (NL) and 30 kilometers northwest of Aachen (GER).

It is primarily important for air freight traffic but is also used by low-cost and charter airlines. Next to the airport is the Upper Area Control Center Maastricht of Eurocontrol, which monitors the upper airspace above 24,500 ft (approx. 7,500 m) in northwest Germany, the Benelux countries, and northern France. The control center was also recreated in great detail for the scenery.

Furthermore, many custom 3D objects were implemented for ground vehicles, static aircraft, various buildings, signs, and more, including custom lighting models.

Although not yet officially announced, we can now announce that the last major trailer brand has joined. Schmitz Cargobull Trailer Pack DLC is expected to be released. Audited results show astragon generated c. €26 million of revenue and €5.7 million of EBITDA for the year ended 31 December 2020 and had audited net assets of approximately €13.8 million as at 31 December 2020.

The PC system requirements of the new flight simulator X-Plane 12 has been revealed. Although Laminar Research has not yet announced an early access date, it is slowly approaching the release. We’re warming up to XP12 more with the teased images. When the simulator is ready for purchase, it has been announced that the X-Plane 12 demo will be released for free. 

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

• CPU: Intel Core i3, i5, i7, or i9 CPU with 4 or more cores, or AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7 or 9.
• Memory: 8 GB RAM
• Video Card: a DirectX 11-capable video card from NVIDIA, AMD or Intel with at least 2 GB VRAM

If your system is borderline, we encourage you to try the demo first. The full version of the simulator will perform exactly the same as the demo—neither better nor worse. (Note: The X-Plane 12 Demo will be available when the simulator is ready for purchase.)
