Some details in the recently released Assetto Corsa EVO trailer didn’t go unnoticed. Highly requested features like free-roam driving and AI traffic can be seen in the scene at the 1:30 mark of the video. Assetto Corsa has long hosted open-world free driving maps through mods, which also allow for the addition of AI traffic. However, these beloved features may officially arrive with Assetto Corsa EVO, a possibility that is thrilling for racing fans.

With innovations on the modding side, larger and better-designed open-world maps could become one of the most popular features. The integration of an AI traffic system, distinct from the usual AI racing opponents, would offer a fantastic experience for simulation racing enthusiasts. We can only imagine what could be possible with mods!

KUNOS Simulazioni will start sharing more information in the coming weeks, and we eagerly await these updates.

The image below serves as the biggest proof of these exciting new features.
